Let's visit the Boomerang Nebula! 🪃 This cosmic scene shows two lobes of gas and dust ejecting from a central star. Each lobe is about one light-year in length, which makes the total length of the nebula half as long as the distance from our Sun to our nearest stellar neighbors – the Alpha Centauri star system (about four light-years away).
